That's right, folks . . . Don't touch that dial

I just turned my dish back on this month. . . Court TV, Forensic Files, CSI, CSI, CSI. . . If only the world could go back to the days of Andy Griffith
@anonymus :my overseas view is blurred. who's Andy Griffith? "feel no hate see no hate"...must be one of them teletubbies? @historical wit : hate is also something that lives together with anger and fear. powerfull emotions that help us finding our way and place among other humans and even animals. I think it's basicaly a 'good' and even helpfull emotion. As Gustave Flaubert say'd "hate is a virtue" Damn shame the dude is dead.
Nu- hate gets in the way of objectivity. I like to recognize it, but not to let the hate affect anything. True, even the worset of emotions can serve a good purpose, if the person using those have the mental abilty to control what they are feeling.
historical wit. we are all similar were it comes to potential powersources like love or anger.(some might call it eros and thanatos) But we differ in the way we can control or use it. I tend to like people that express disappointment or anger in a humorous or gentle way. Just what's happening on this site here. I dont know if hate gets in the way of objectivity, if so I would say that love does the same. But it's an intersting thought and I'm gonna dream about this! yh8 tnx bud for filling the gap of american show history
The Andy Griffith Show,in my opinion, was a 30 minute morality play.It began with a dilemma and ended with a solution. If I was given 30 minutes to live and HAD to watch one 1/2 hr. episode of television,I would request to see "Opie the Birdman". Opie:"The cage sure looks awful empty, don't it,Pa?" Andy:"Yes son,it sure does...But don't the trees seem nice and full."
@anonymos:in your opininon 'aweful' and 'empty' are no dilemma's and 'nice' and 'full' are no solutions? The puppy that doesn't know spring has arrived...is a buddah.
nu:I have an 'aweful'complextion problem and my bank account is 'empty'.However,my dermatologist prescibed a 'nice' cream to remedy this and my accountant recently sent the IRS my tax return and I am getting the 'full' refund.About my puppy;well he died,'cause the exterminator put out some bait for my rodent problem and the pup ate it.buddah? An agnostic doesn't recognize those types.no reply necessary.

I think the little box we are using now is just as big, if not a bigger, hate generator.
At least on the TV I can watch a rerun of Andy Griffith, and feel no hate and see no hate.
what sells? Sex and violence. hate is but a subculture of violence.
Fitting Zappa song Nu!
Great observation anon, and a point well made. But you have to admit, that silly deputy could work on a nerve after a while.
Dat shiznit was deep wit. We posted at the same time, otherwise I'd have included you in my response.

Nu, Andy Griffith is an old tv show that had become an American symbol of life in a small town. Here's a sample of the show

Why yes love does. Love is the enemy of precision. And thats not a bad thing.
